Lawyer – Project Finance & Loans
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £100000/annum
This bank is looking to hire an experienced Lawyer to work within their small Legal department to provide legal advice and assistance to mainly the bank’s front office functions covering project finance and loans. This is coupled with assisting with other areas as and when required.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation for emerging market transactions such as term sheets, mandate letters, loan agreements, security documentation, project documents, legal opinions, insurance and advise on transaction structure
* Management of the transactions from outset to completion
To be considered for the role you MUST be:
* Qualified in England and Wales and ideally France with at least 4 years’ experience in banking
* Excellent transactional experience in emerging markets focussing on project finance and loans – bilateral and syndicated arrangements in corporate, financial institutions and sovereign
