Landscape Gardener Apprentice

Are you interested in landscaping and working hard?
We expect the candidate to punctual and polite with a can-do attitude. The applicant will be using tools such as mowers, strimmer’s, hedge trimmers, blowers and all hand tools.
They should also have an extensive knowledge of plants, shrubs and flowers including knowing when to cut back and when not to. This is a demanding and physical role, so fitness is essential. Your working day would be 8am start 4/5 pm finish not including travelling time. Any jobs missed through weather etc must be complete during the weekend. You will be required to follow a daily rota and work to deadlines for each garden.
Training Provided
Training will be provided while on placement and you will receive all training within the Health and Safety criteria.

However, you will be enrolled on to an Open Door's Programme which will help you gain experience in employability before you move into a permanent job. You will also be able to work towards your Functional Skills maths and English, if needed.
