We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to work for one of our clients. They are a global leader in the catering business and one of the largest independent airline caterers worldwide wide. The company are constantly improving and innovating the service to its clients as well as the wellbeing and process of its employees and exclusives.
We are currently actively looking for someone to join their team as a kitchen porter.

What are the main duties of a Kitchen Porter?
Basic food preparation
Washing up, cleaning, and clearing all kitchen areas
Unloading and putting away deliveries
Emptying bins, sweeping, and mopping floors
Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly
Deep cleaning fridges and storerooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards
The ideal candidate would be:
Have basic food preparation skills such as vegetable preparation
Understanding of kitchen equipment
Understanding of cleaning kitchen equipment
Understanding of cleaning kitchen areas and surfaces
Ability to prepare and clear food service
Knowledge of kitchen health and safety
Knowledge of food hygiene practices
Good oral communication
Attention to detail
Good level of numeracy
Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
Positive and approachable manner
Team player qualities
