Kitchen Assistant – Wells – £9.53 per hour – 32hrs a week – Permanent
Based in a great elderly care home and working for a leading national charity. You’ll be required to assist the Cook in meeting the nutritional and dietary needs of residents, which respects the choice of the individual and promotes health and well-being.
Due to working in a care home, it is government legislation that you must be double jabbed.
Main responsibilities:
* Keep all areas of the kitchen clean, in accordance with work schedules.
* Help the Cook in the food preparation, serving, washing up and storing crockery and utensils appropriately.
* Dispose of all waste food hygienically.
* Ensure adequate supplies of washing up and cleaning materials are kept for use in the kitchen.
Details:
* 32 hours per week
* 4 days over 7 with, alternate weekends off.
* Shifts are either 06:30 – 15:00 or 10.30 – 19.00
* £9.50 per hour
* Permanent Contract
* It is a condition of employment that this post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure and you must be double jabbed.
