My client a beautiful school in Leatherhead is looking for a catering porter to join their team. As this is a private school you will be only be working 36 weeks of the year!
The role of a Kitchen Porter is to work with the back of house staff to deliver the daily cleaning requirements of the kitchen. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join the team. We need people who are true team player's and have the drive and passion to excel in all of their designated duties, you are the heart of the kitchen. This will help to ensure that services runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Your roles & responsibilities will include basic food preparation alongside general washing and cleaning duties.
Basic salary is 15,362 per annum pro-rated pay (£17,327 per annum FTE). The salary is inclusive of holiday entitlement and annual leave which must be taken in the school holidays. Holiday entitlement is 28 days including Bank Holidays (FTE) and 3 days at Christmas when the School is closed.
Hours of work are on a shift rota to include morning, mid, late shifts – Monday to Friday (with the occasional weekend working), 40 hours per week, 36 weeks per year (term time) inclusive of unpaid breaks
