Job Title:      Key Account Manager

Location: Leatherhead

Reports to:    Sales Manager

Direct Reports:   Business Development Executive

Salary Range:   £25,000 – £30,000 plus Bonus- OTE £60K

We carry out Grounds Maintenance, Landscape Improvement works, Japanese Knotweed treatments and Winter Maintenance services for multiple clients across the UK. This is an innovate, high growth, exciting and faced-paced company with lots of opportunities to progress and grow with the company.

JOB OUTLINE

The Key Account Manager's role is to oversee a portfolio of commercial customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new commercial sales opportunities across the full portfolio of our services.

Our Services include:

Maintenance – grounds maintenance services which include a selection of landscaping services, from grass cutting and hedge trimming to leaf clearance and weed control. We also provide a range of tree surgery services and site clearances.
Environmental – Japanese Knotweed removal, invasive weed management and environmental duty to care
Gritting – gritting, winter risk management and snow clearance
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Be the main point of contact for all key strategic customer accounts.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and actively seek opportunities to develop and grow the key accounts across all of our services.
Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according tocustomer needs and objectives.
Proactively calling new clients, introducing our company, and building a new business pipeline.
Actively following up any leads, referrals, and new business opportunities.
Forecasting and reporting on your key accounts weekly, monthly, and annually.
Liaising with theSales and Marketingteam to identify and grow opportunities within areas and industries.
Face to face contact with customer for meetings, appointments, exhibitions, and networking.

Create and present tailored commercial offerings to potential clients.
Actively pursue, seek out and manage tenders in a timely manner.

Assist with challenging client requests or any customer account issues that are escalated.
Liaison with the operations management team on works scheduled and completed and facilitate client engagement with the operations contract teams.

Key Skills and Behaviours:

Experiencein sales, proactive calling, and face to face meetings.
To be able to communicate, present and influence decision makers at all levels of an organisation.
IT literate with a good knowledge of MS Office applications especially MS Excel, CRM Software and able to learn and grow our innovate systems.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
Excellent organisation and time management skills with an ability to multi-task and manage a portfolio of services and a diverse number of clients.
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Actively and successfully manage the sales process, through lead generation, sales presentations, proposal solutions, negotiation, close, and handover to the operations team.

Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Committed and hungry to progress.
Team player.
Self-starter willing to proactively contribute to improving the sales process and client engagement.
Positive and motivated.
Full UK driving license and your own vehicle.

The job will require frequent travel between Surrey and across England.
