My client, a market leading publishing organisation, is looking to hire a creative Designer to join a team of 3. This is a trainee, entry level role so you need to be eager to learn and immerse yourself in the company brand. In time you will have the opportunity to own your own publication, a fantastic opportunity for you to be creative, put yourself to the test and support the production team on a variety of projects, from product and editorial layout design to email marketing and more.

Duties of the Junior Designer:
– Developing a knowledge of the product and understanding what good looks like, identifying how clients are drawn to a certain design
– You will be using the Adobe suite to design with flair and passion; edit magazines to your highest potential for both print and digital
– Design effective Emails using HTML
– Attend events to create film content for clients
– In 6-12 months, manage your own magazine, editing for an international Audience and making it your own, how exciting!
To be considered for the Junior Designer:
– Design experience using the Adobe Suite – mainly InDesign (Essential)
– Knowledge or experience of HTML (Not essential)
– Video/Filming experience – this will enable you to travel internationally with the company (not essential)
– A graphic design portfolio
– Understanding of creating email marketing
– A strong eye for detail
– You will need a can-do attitude and an outgoing personality
– Driving license
