Outlook Publishing is a leading digital media brand, producing regional business and travel magazines tailored for and read by industry leading companies and executives around the world.
As a result of its continuing success and expansion the company is searching for a new Junior Advert Designer to join its hugely successful Creative Services production team, designing and producing adverts for its five bi-monthly b2b magazine titles.
Key Duties – Junior Designer:
Design and produce adverts of varying sizes using client supplied materials and instructions
Design and produce supporting advert editorial
Produce and submit pdf proofs for client approval
Communicate with advert-clients, executing advert changes and instructions
Person Specification – Junior Designer:
A basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite including software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
A strong work ethic and hunger to improve and learn
A keen eye for typography with the flexibility to adapt to different design styles
The ability to work to tight deadlines
Strong organisational and time management skills
A level of self-confidence on the telephone with an ability to thrive under pressure
The willingness to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit production team
An interest in the magazine and digital media publishing industry.
The ideal candidate will either be a graduate with demonstrable design experience obtained during their course, or a young professional looking for a new challenge in the world of business magazine publishing
