Junior / Apprentice Accountant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £18000 – £23000/annum £18-20k +bens +training
My client is leading Accountancy practice providing local businesses and individuals with first class Accountancy services.
We are urgently seeking a Junior Accountant who will join an Accountancy team in Shipley. You will specifically:
Management of financial systems and budgets
Undertaking financial audits for clients
Complete VAT Returns for clients
Advising on clients tax planning
Maintaining records, preparing accounts and management information for client
Advising on business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions.
Advising clients on areas of business improvement, or dealing with insolvency with the assistance of other internal staff.
We ideally would be seeking a candidate who has a keen interest in Accountancy, coupled with a good educational background, it would be to your advantage if you have started any studies relating to Accountancy, although this is not needed, more the desire to make a career within Accountancy. You will be provided with full training and study support
