Junior Account Manager – Layers Feed – East of England

Salary : £24000 – £27000/annum 25 days AL, up to 10% pension

This is an exciting opportunity to join the ABN commercial team working in our Layers Feed team.
The role will allow you to develop skills and experience in commercial and technical account management dealing with ABN layers customers, gaining over time, recognition both internally and externally as an expert in the field of poultry and specifically layers feed. With a working knowledge of raw material purchasing and technical performance combined with commercial skills, the individual will use a team approach to develop robust and mutually profitable partnerships.
The individual should support the accounts given to him/her on which to train, with a view to progressing to full customer accountability. In addition the individual should work to build a profitable account ledger with a view to career progression to a higher sales grade within the wider Mono Commercial Team.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Taking on selected accounts to build account experience and gain a technical understanding of the pig industry.
* Working with account prospects to win sales and build a profitable ledger.
* Spending some time with Customer Support, logistics and Procurement in order to have a complete understanding of the processes involved.
This role is one which allows the individual to develop and progress within a team environment. Full support will be given
