Do you have a passion for great content, and the ability to write articles which deliver advertising clients’ key messages in an engaging and lively way which helps inform our audience and delivers digital targets?
Are you a versatile journalist who can adapt tone and style, to write for customers as diverse as pizza chains and banks, funeral directors and theme parks?
Can you write sparkling SEO headlines and social posts which deliver engagement on titles across the UK?
And are you a genuine people person who can inspire clients and sales colleagues alike to commit to large campaigns, with confident phone and video interviews and quick, accurate content?
JPIMedia’s commercial content team is looking for a journalist, working with the commercial editor and alongside sales colleagues, to deliver excellent customer service and campaigns for our clients.
You’ll be confident enough to work on your own at speed, and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
You will have a track record of producing quality digital content, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the business, and a keen eye for accuracy.
A sound knowledge of Desk and Socialflow would be an advantage.
What you will do:
* Liaise with clients to create the strongest content angles to deliver their campaign goals
* Write and commission articles that inform and educate our audience, and raise awareness of client brands.
* Work with a freelance budget to commission external freelance writers and experts in their fields.
* Edit and proofread articles, ensuring the tone is on-brand, with impeccable accuracy.
* Create and manage shareable content around big calendar events.
* Build on our existing stable of reliable freelance contributors.
* Publish articles to all JPI websites.
* Build strong working relationships with the sales team to hit all deadlines
* Worth with sales teams to create big pitches for clients
