Java Developer
We are currently recruiting a Java Developer (Architect) for a leading global investment bank based in London. Our client is a tier-1 investment bank that has invested a lot into its global technology teams over the years.
The role is within a Risk Technology team the develops solutions for real-time risk management systems which effect trading decisions. They require somebody with ideally 4-7 years experience in Java that can rewrite specific components to be distributed and cloud ready. The role has more architectural/design requirements than your typical developer position. You will be responsible for a scalable data processing and querying pipeline for computation results.
Requirements:
* Around 5 years experience in development work
* Work within high-performance systems preferred
* Design and common distributed architecture patterns knowledge
* Some form of cloud experience (Azure or AWS a bonus)
* SRE and TDD expertise
