We are working with a Global Health company who are looking to revolutionise how people access healthcare, Globally.
They launched 2 years ago and are the number 1 app in 130 countries and are now looking to build their technical team in the UK.
My client is looking for a Backend Java Engineer (Java, Kotlin) to join the product engineering team. As an Engineer you’ll work in a cross functional delivery team of between 4-7 other developers. You’ll be responsible for extending the Microservices landscape. You will focus on domain logic, persistence, service to service communication and security to allow for performant and scalable software architecture.
While implementing domain logic on the service layer and enabling the operational ability of the team will be your core responsibility, we believe in cross-functional people as well as cross-functional teams, so there are always opportunities to influence decisions, support other engineers within your team and work across the full stack. The mobile app has already seen great success on a global scale, live in several countries. As part of the team in London you’ll be helping to create the future for our consumer products.
