IT Support Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £24000 – £28000/annum
POST recruitment is recruiting an IT Support Technician for a niche family owned business in Yeadon, reporting directly to the IT Manager you will be the main point of contact for all IT support requests across the business to deliver the maximum uptime of all business systems.
Duties will include;
* Providing desktop support in both Windows 7 and 8.
* You will demonstrate a good working knowledge on Microsoft Office 365.
* An understanding of Microsoft SharePoint and what it could offer the business.
* You will demonstrate a good working knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2019.
* Have an understanding of Networking devices such as DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and WIFI.
* You will have some experience in VMware of Microsoft Hyper-V.
* Understand Cloud computing concepts with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
* Experience of Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Administration of anti-virus products.
* Experience of email filtering software such as Mimecast.
* Experience of VOIP Telephony.
* You will have an eagerness to learn and develop your skills.
* Build strong relationships with all areas and departments of the business.
* Manage expectations on IT support resolutions.
* Support members of the business when needed.
* Office based role with the occasional requirement for out of office hours working, together with some remote support when required.
