We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a rapidly expanding Automotive parts manufacturer based at their plant in Liverpool.
This role will involve working within the Operations team, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading the relationship between IT, the business and 3rd party suppliers. The role will be responsible for delivering a number of critical projects within the business.
Responsible for a small yet expanding IT team, you will also own and champion Projects supporting key departments across Manufacturing, Cyber Security, Supply Chain and other subsidiary departments.
IT Project Manager core responsibilities:
* Own, build and enhance the IT service relationship with the business
* Improve data integrity and the flow of information within the business
* Create, manage and deliver action plans for key project launches within the business
* Manage 3rd party IT suppliers ensuring existing and new SLA's are met and exceeded for IT network and infrastructure, IT applications for our manufacturing systems
* Deliver an IT strategy that will enable the business to exceed growth targets
* Ensure correct change management processes are followed for any new IT service introductions, knowledge of ITIL would be useful
* Maintain network infrastructure, switches, physical servers, virtual machines (Hyper-V) and backup systems
* Identify, implement and review necessary IT security measures and policies with a particular focus on cyber security
* Ensure the department efficiently manages maintenance of all company IT assets and ensure uptime of software systems and hardware
* Prepare accurate monthly reports for line management
Required skills:
* Minimum 3 years working experience within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical or FMCG environment
* Experience managing and delivering an IT system to manage manufacturing and production environment
* Previous experience with roll our and launch of integrated software and systems (Ideally MRP/ERP/EDI)
* Demonstrable experience of delivering IT change and transformation
* Cyber security experience
* Creating and managing accurate budgets for the IT delivery within the business
* Ability to work under pressure
