Our client is a leading provider of ICT Solutions within the Education sector. Established for many years they are hugely successful and respected in the sector helping schools achieve their best standards of learning and development through technology. We are now looking for an IT Helpdesk Advisor to join the team. Possessing some experience in IT support we are looking for someone that has great communication skills and desire to learn and develop further technical skills. The company are superb to work for and provide a great environment and culture with great training and development opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
* Providing IT Helpdesk support for the schools
* Handling all 1st line queries and some 2nd line where capable
* Providing technical solutions and problem solving
* Organising and prioritising the tickets and queries in order of urgency
* Maintaining an excellent level of customer service
* Working closely with the Field based Engineers
* Passing on complex problems and briefing the relevant engineer
Main Skills
* A background in helpdesk support in an IT capacity
* communication skills and a great telephone manner
* Some basic knowledge of Windows Server 2008 – 2016
* Assisting with helping manage Active Directory environments and using Group Policy in an environment of 30+ devices
* Windows 7 – 10
* Office 365
* A desire to learn and develop a career within IT
