IT Engineer – 1st line support – Waltham Abbey – Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
Our client has a requirement to expand their IT team due to business expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, eager 1st/2nd and some 3rd Line Support Engineer looking for their next step. The role is to deliver and support users and infrastructure, systems used are mostly MS technologies (Windows Server, Windows 10 etc.)
You will be part of our team supporting a range of technical systems including desktop support, software support along with supporting network equipment.
Ideal applicants will have previous experience and service ability along with excellent troubleshooting skills.
It would be helpful for applicants to have knowledge on the below technologies:
Desktop support both Hardware and Software
MS Office / Office 365
Basic Windows based networking – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc
Basic routing, switching & patching
Leading by example, show professionalism when dealing with all levels of staff. Good communication skills. Be enthusiastic in your approach to work and colleagues.
To work well under pressure. Be calm and approachable at all times.
Have a willingness to be flexible to the needs of others and the requirements of the business.
