Intelligent Buildings Consultant / Engineer
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £35 – £45/hour
We are working with a thriving and exciting MEP Consulting Engineering practice with multiple offices throughout the uk – they are looking for an experienced Smart buildings expert to join their thriving team who have a fantastic reputation within the commercial and mixed use office space
You will be contributing to the clients constant developing knowledge in the Intelligent Buildings space. You will be leading design of intelligent building systems, location sensing and integrated solutions (IT, AV etc). Your designs will need to interface with third party IP technologies including: BMS, Security, AV, IT, Lighting and other MEP services.
You should have a proven experience designing and deploying intelligent buildings within a commercial environment, ideally with a building services consultancy in the UK. Understanding of Passive Structured Cabling, Active LAN networks and AV and Multimedia. Ideally you will be confident taking a lead role on projects when regarding intelligent building design.
