Implementation Consultants

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £50000 – £60000/annum bonus + profit share

Implementation Consultants or Professional Services Consultants with Property Management, Estate Management or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Software for home based roles working for a leading software vendor; competitive package to £60k plus a good bonus, laptop, mobile, profit share, travel insurance and 5 weeks' holiday. Ideally you will live somewhere from The Midlands to the South, West or East Coast of England.

This successful global business software company is looking for 2 Professional Services Consultants or Implementation Consultants with experience in any of the following software areas: Property Management, Property Facilities Management, Real Estate Investment software, Lettings & Rental Software, Property Maintenance software or Enterprise Asset Management software. Any additional knowledge of the finance or accounting aspects of software would be a definite bonus.

These roles are home based with the usual travel to client sites, although when you initially join you will need to spend some time at head office to learn the software. This is a positive, constructive place to work; you will find a stimulating environment where knowledge sharing is key.

This software vendor has been developing and implementing web based property management, real estate, property investment management, accounting software and facilities management software for the retail, commercial, residential and industrial property market for many years. They have offices in 5 countries, over 3,000 global employees and they are innovative, client focused and very successful.

They are leading experts with years of experience in the property, housing, investment and facilities management software space and are a fast growing, ambitious company, looking to attract top talent. They offer an engaging working environment, flexible home based work, avenues for professional growth and opportunities for you to step outside of your comfort zone and learn & grow.

These roles are to work as Professional Services Consultants on the rentals modules. This allows companies to manage their properties, from collecting the service charges, to residents' payments and invoices, maintenance and repairs, through to online portals where they can communicate with the owners. Often their clients own multiple blocks of apartments at high values.

A typical project would be from end to end, taking the requirements, looking at the business processes, through workshops and doing the analysis, software configuration, documentation, data migration to training and Go-Live.

Because you will work with property investment companies, lots of their work is based in London, but they do also have clients in most of the major cities in the UK. After an initial training period at their UK head office (they will pay your expenses for a hotel stay), you will work with one of the Senior Consultants shadowing them through all aspects of the project. Then you will take on your own projects with some mentoring and coaching, until you are a fully-fledged knowledgeable consultant and you have fully learnt the software.

They have over 25 offices all over the world and a dozen separate software solutions that they develop and sell to the property investment and property management world, so you could transfer your job anywhere in the world at a later stage if you would like to relocate abroad with your family. The career paths for these roles are to become a product expert on the rentals module, learn one of the other modules, move into project management, move into account management or pre-sales or team management. People love working here and many of the staff stay here for a very long time, which is testament to their excellent working environment.

You need at least 3 years' full life cycle software implementation and functional consulting experience to include some knowledge of financials, with good property management software expertise in any form – so it could be property maintenance software, facilities management, investment management, rentals and lettings software, asset management or similar. You will of course have excellent communication skills, strong client facing experience, a great attitude and a passion for technology in this market.

These are top roles within a top global property software business. But they also have a lot of fun here, with lots of company outings and events and they are philanthropic with opportunities to join in some of their charity work and give back to their communities. It's a great place to work all round.
