£35,000- £42,000 dependant on experience
Swindon – Hybrid at present – 4 days home based -1 day office based
I am currently working exclusively in partnership with an established reputable company in Swindon to recruit a stand-alone HR Officer. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for supporting the business with your in-depth generalist HR operational experience.
About the job:
* Manage recruitment of site staff including applications, vetting and on-boarding
* Processing leavers and liaising with payroll
* Benefits administration for private healthcare, life & accident cover, childcare vouchers
* Issue contract variations and salary review letters
* Processing holiday requests
* Regular review of company policies to reflect best practice and comply with legal requirements
* Working with the management team to communicate changes in employment law and conduct training where necessary
* Provide guidance to line managers on managing performance
* Handle employee relations issues, and manage employee relations cases including grievances and disciplinaries
* Support managers regarding sickness and absence from work
* Produce monthly metrics for Board and senior level meetings
* Provide additional business support for the wider business, as and when required including general administrative and payroll tasks
About You:
* CIPD Level 5 Qualified or minimum three HR generalist experience
* Happy to work in a reactive operational HR stand-alone role

* 37.5 hours per week 8:30am -5pm
