Work Force & Organisational Development Business Partner

Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is part of the NHS Wales family and has an important role in changing the way health and care services are delivered through technology and data. The organisation supports frontline staff with modern systems and access to patient information, while empowering the people of Wales to manage their own health through digital NHS Wales services.

What you’ll be doing?

We are looking for individuals who have experience in managing and supporting Human Resources, ideally in healthcare or similar environments.

In addition to this, we are looking for specific skillsets such as:

* The Workforce & Organisational Development Business Partner is a senior member of the Workforce & OD Team and as such will support the delivery of NHS Wales Informatics Service Workforce & OD objectives, leading on specific workforce and organisational development areas of work.

* The post holder will support the Workforce & OD Manager and work with the WfOD Business Partners in the delivery of strategic WfOD and advise on the impact of national and local strategies for workforce and organisational development, participating in corporate workforce initiatives and projects, as required

* The post holder will identify workforce and organisational development issues and develop the workforce and organisational development management capability to deliver organisational objectives.

* The post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing appropriate OD and training and development sessions/programmes, in relation to any specific areas of Workforce & OD

What else is advantageous?

* Experience in consulting and negotiating with staff representatives and full time trade union officers, as required, on complex employment issues.

* Experience in line management and provide leadership to the WfOD Team to ensure the provision of a high quality service including Appraisals and staff development, disciplinary and grievance and delegating when required

* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
