Hire Controller
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £24000 – £30000/annum
Standard Plant Hire Ltd have an excellent opportunity available to join our fast-growing and ambitious team. We are seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking individual with experience in the plant hire industry.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will enjoy a varied and fast-paced role in which you will handle and process customer enquiries via telephone and email. You will process new hires and off hires ensuring you deliver our mission to provide the best customer experience in the plant hire industry.
As a Hire Controller you will be responsible for:
* Ensuring all customer orders are processed correctly
* Resolving customer queries
* Building relationships with new and existing customers and suppliers
* Developing and maintaining knowledge of existing and new fleet items
ABOUT YOU
* 1-year previous tool/plant hire booking & handling experience (desired but not essential)
* Experience in a customer-focused role
* Great attention to detail
* Professional manner with great people skills
* Great communicator both written and oral
* Motivated self-starter with good administration, time management and organisation skills
* Enjoy working under pressure
* Work well on individual tasks and as a member of a team
* Strong work ethic
* Problem solving abilities
* Eager to learn and develop
* Experience of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
* Experience of Syrinx would be beneficial
Due to the location of the Head Office, this position would suit a car owner
