Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Haringey
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £80 – £100/day Negotiable
Teach Now are working with an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ primary school in Haringey to find them a qualified and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The role is to begin in September 2021 and will continue until the end of the academic year.
The school are looking for a qualified and motivated individual to cover classes during PPA time, SLT meetings, sickness and release time for class teachers. It is a chance for you to take that next step in your career and if you are an aspiring teacher then this is an opportunity for you to become fully involved in everything that it takes to be a class teacher. You must be confident in your ability to deliver effective learning and have an impact on all pupils.
Qualifications are required for this role:
The school are looking for individuals that are:
* HLTA/QTS trained
* Happy to cover classes throughout the school (EYFS – Yr 6)
* Dedicated and passionate about teaching and learning
* Creative and dynamic with their class teaching
* Honest and compassionate
* Able to commit for the duration of the placement
* Experience is not required but wold be ideal
* Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education
* DBS checked or happy to complete one
