Job Role: HGV TECHNICIAN / HGV MECHANIC / HGV FITTER – Monday – Thursday

Salary: £18.00 per hour (£44,928 basic salary) + overtime & Bonus

Hours: 18:00 – 06:00 Monday – Thursday

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Depot location: Sheffield

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic is required for a successful Truck Dealer workshop in the Sheffield area.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Technician

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
·Main dealer experience advantageous
·A commercial licence would be beneficial but isn't essential for this position

Working hours

This night shift role will be worked over 4 nights per week, Monday – Thursday 18:00 – 06:00
