This position is based within our Stoke-on-Trent depot and has many perks, in terms of stability, pension, stay away bonus, expenses and overtime which is paid at time and a half with a high and achievable OTE.
Job Title / Description – HGV Class 1 Delivery Driver
This position reports to the Depot Manager
Main Purpose of the Role
To work within the Transport department and ensure that all orders are delivered safely, securely, efficiently, and effectively.
Ensuring that all driving compliance standards are achieved in a safe and professional manner.
Your Primary Roles and Responsibilities
1. Deliver and collect Conquip products to and from their final destination in a professional, efficient and effective manner
2. Liaise with Transport Manager regarding logistics and ensuring customer first approach taken at all times.
3. Communicate between the office and the customer to ensure that on time delivery is maintained or exceeded on each occasion.
4. Adhere to all legislations on all occasions including Tacho and DSA driving standards.
5. Maintain a positive image to the customer of the Conquip brand.
6. Maintain vehicle to a high level and ensure that various compliance requirements are achieved.
