We're proud to be working with the UK's largest producer of Pig and Poultry feed with 11 sites located across the UK, delivering to customers nationwide. They're looking for a HGV Driver to join our Enstone feed mill.

About the role:

Reporting to the site Transport Manager, you'll safely and effectively perform bulk blown animal feed deliveries to our customers. You must be a team player, in addition to being able to work well individually.

This role is shift based and so a degree of flexibility is also required.

• Adhere to all site and Company Health and Safety regulations, including driving responsibly within speed limits and staying within parameters of tachograph regulations.

• Completion of daily walk round checks in accordance with the Driver's Handbook before leaving site and or commencing shift.

• Conduct feed deliveries accurately and efficiently.

• Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed, returned and recorded as required by Company procedures.

• Completion of vehicle defect paperwork on time and in following Company procedures.

• Liaising with your fellow drivers, production operators. Production Manager and Operations Manager regularly to ensure the needs of our customers are met.

• Safe and timely loading and unloading of the vehicles as instructed with regard to gross weight, axle weight, road safety and product quality.

• Following and maintaining vehicle hygiene in accordance with Company procedures.

• Follow all bio-security procedures and legislation, including completing any administration.

• Minimise the production of waste and use of resources.

What you'll need…

We're looking for someone with an HGV Class 1 Licence, Driver CPC and ideally someone with experience using blowing equipment, however this is not essential. An FLT Licence would be desirable as would a thorough understanding of quality standards.

What's really important to us is that you're self-motivated, a team player and a great communicator. Great customer service skills and a desire to meet customer expectations are also very important to us.

Shifts and Hours Of Work: If successful you'll work on average 48 hours per week. You'll be carrying out 1-2 drops per day. No nights out but must be prepared to work the occasional Saturday and some Bank Holidays.
