Fantastic opportunity to join an excellent healthcare communications agency to support their close-knit PR team in a Content Writer role.

The Role

We are working with a forward-thinking communications agency who deliver award winning campaigns in the medical and healthcare sector. They are now recruiting for a naturally creative Content Writer to join their team.

Collaborating with the client services team in a mixed copywriting and copyediting role you will be supporting the PR team in the creation of a wide range of communications collateral.

Role responsibilities

Developing content concepts, structures and solutions that respond to a variety of client briefs
Working from the brief, creating clear and creative content through to project delivery with some guidance from colleagues
Supporting with editorial writing quality within the team and work with more junior team members to upskill them on writing, content development skills and best practice
Having a good understanding of relevant codes of practice and ensures all content is compliant
Developing a vast array of PR editorial content types e.g. press releases, Q&As, reports, by-line articles, thought leadership pieces, editorial copy, patient support materials, scripts, internal communiques and announcements etc.
Candidate background

You will have proven experience of copywriting within a medical or healthcare comms agency setting and be able to demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.  The ability to write engaging content across a broad variety of materials in multiple styles from highly scientific research and content!
