Our client an ambitious and extremely professional fleet management company currently have a unique opportunity to join them as their Head of IT to act as a focal point for the IT department for all BAU responsibilities, ensuring all activities from IT Support, Service Management, Planning and Disaster Recovery and overall help to deliver a great customer experience to their external and internal customers. The post holder will need to lead the IT team, support the day to day running of the department and develop the IT roadmap for the business as it embarks on a very exciting period & a summary of the duties for this Head of IT role appears below:-

Define and successfully implement the IT strategy.

Ensure the IT team delivers to a high standard and consistently achieve SLAs and KPIs, fostering a culture of excellent customer service across the business.

Drive resolution of business issues and ensure customer satisfaction, quality, cost efficiency, stability and technical performance for services, products and solutions within the area of responsibility.

Supervise, lead and develop people.

Support customer facing teams with the delivery of IT documentation required to meet the needs of customers and prospects.

Lead a program of continuous improvement and optimisation of service delivery and organisational transformation across the business.

Delivery of required management and customer reports to agreed schedules and quality.

Supporting the financial targets of the business through effective cost management, process and technology optimisation.

Change, transformation and continuous improvement.

Monitor the performance and potential of your team and provide the direction, training and motivation necessary to secure their optimum commitment, competency and maximum efficiency.

Carry out Performance Management Reviews with direct reporting staff and ensure PMR completion of non-direct reports

If you have extensive management experience in an IT service delivery and support role as well as 1st class communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to translate complex information in a way that it is understood by all stakeholders ( colleagues, customers, prospects etc) then our client would like to hear from you. In addition you will need demonstrable experience in driving transformation within

an organisation as well as experience of working with Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating systems

If you have a minimum of 3 years working within an information technology environment have experience of managing , manipulating data in a recognised database (SQL, Oracle or similar) and have strong leadership and man management abilities then this would be an ideal for you. Applications are also invited from candidates who have been previously involved in a data migration project and can demonstrate experience in analysing information, extracting data & in project management and implementation of new software solutions.
