Head of Editorial Services (Parental Leave Contract)

A fantastic opportunity of Head of Editorial Services has arisen with a dynamic, creative digital Education company that create digital educational resources, with print support materials, for use within schools internationally. This role is a fixed term 12 month parental leave contract. It offers an excellent salary, benefits and flexible working. Our client is based in West Scotland and would ideally look for the person to spend part of the week in their central Glasgow office. Remote working can be considered for the ideal candidate.
The main remit of this Head of Editorial Services role will be to communicate across departments to ensure that editorial tasks are completed to a high quality and to strict deadlines. Responsibilities will include (amongst others):
Managing a team of highly skilled editors to maintain editorial quality
Managing customer feedback
Scoping and making revisions to print and digital content
Managing the various editions and versions of print and digital files
Managing curriculum mapping, as well as creating standards and rubrics
Providing editorial support across projects and departments as required
