Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? A chance to work for one of the UK's leading holiday companies. Then this may be the role for you! We are looking to fill various chef roles to be based at beautiful and popular holiday park resort at one of our client's locations in Lancaster.
Do you have the experience of running a large team and overseeing food outlets? Our client provides an amazing service to all of its guests and they are very passionate about customer service. They are looking for a passionate and experienced chefs with more of a gastro pub level of experience rather than fine dining, with exceptional leadership skills and also be able to work in a team
The roles are available on a permanent, full-time basis, working hours as per the business requirements.
Main responsibilities:
* The Chef will need to be passionate about what they do and highly experienced in their field.
* Self-motivated and adaptable
* Experience in overseeing multiple food outlets at once.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must.
* Up to date with all food and safety regulations
* A strong leader who is organised, firm yet warm and approachable.
* Used to working well under pressure.
* In charge of developing menus and maintaining the food is of the highest quality
* Orders and stock control
* Work well as part of a team.
* Recruitment of all kitchen staff
* Staff Rotas
* Ensuring the working environment is safe, clean yet fun and positive.
* Promoting a passion for food within your team by ongoing training of staff and nurturing them to the highest level
* Oversee check and ensure all professional documents and administrative work are up to date and complete – stocktakes, wastage, cleanliness and hygiene sheets.
