Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Salary : £23500 – £25000/annum + Overtime and Progression
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader who will be joining a commercial grounds maintenance company who have been maintaining grounds for a variety of clients for 15 years and in that time have developed an enviable reputation for the quality of their service.
The Grounds Maintenance Team Leader will be operating from their Wallingford Depot.
Duties and responsibilities will include working at a variety of locations (commercial sites, residential properties, housing estates etc.,) planning and organising both your own and your teams time efficiently to complete the scheduled grounds maintenance jobs which will include:
* Grass Cutting (using both ride on and pedestrian mowers).
* Strimming.
* Sweeping.
* Litter Picking.
* Maintaining Shrubs & Flower Beds.
* Hedge Cutting and Pruning.
* Watering and Planting.
* Weed Spraying.
To be considered for this Grounds Maintenance Team Leader job opportunity you will need:
* Grounds maintenance experience (mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, shrub and flower bed maintenance) and ideally weed spraying.
* Team Leading experience.
* Your driving licence.
* PA1 / PA6 spraying licence.
On offer is a permanent and full time job working a 40 hour week, a salary of up to £25,000 per year which works out to 2083.33 per month / £480.77 per week / £12.01 per hour. Plus, Overtime and 29 days paid holiday including Bank Holidays and the opportunity for a Quarterly Bonus of up to £250.
You will be joining a well-established and growing business that with this recruitment is looking to expand their current team to meet the demands of new business gains and as such there will be the opportunity to progress to Grounds Maintenance Team Supervisor level.
Uniform, PPE, initial and ongoing training will be provided
