Grounds Maintenance Operative (Permanent Role)

We are looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Operative (permanent role) or someone who could progress to a Team Leaders role to start work immediately, the role involves maintaining the clients commercial properties and sites to high visual standards on soft landscaping schemes either on static sites or within our mobile teams, the role is avaialble for an immediate start , the right candidate will lead to a definate career progression with fantastic prospects with complete training and investment by the company to give you the best development possible.
You Must Have
Driving license – desireable
Qualifications PA1 / PA6 or chemical spraying desirable
Some commercial Landscaping or Grounds Maintenance experience (essential)
Used power tools, mowers, hedge cutters & strimmers
Experience in a similar role, preferably on commercial properties
Available for an immediate start
The Hours
Mon to Fri
Based on 45 hour per week
Unlimited overtime avaialble, (all travel pick up/drop off arranged if its for a mobile team)
The Job
Working for a large multi national established grounds maintenance company carrying out planned and reactive maintenance schedules/works
Driving between sites or on our static sites using hand held power tools provided to carry out the following duties and responsibilities, grass cutting, weeding, bedding, planting, spraying and other associated tasks maintaining all company equipment and kit
Working in a small team and with iniaitive
Some travel maybe required to various clients and sites within the surrounding
areas meeting the customers needs
Full training and support given, appropriate tickets/certifications are awarded for the successful candidates for the applicable sites to work on
