Our client is an established and reputable provider of fixed price, pre-paid Funeral Plans. They are a great company to work for that offer a good working environment and lots of opportunities to progress. Due to business growth we are looking for a strong Administrator ideally with Funeral services or Funeral plans or something similar. This is essential. The successful candidate will have contact with bereaved families so a compassionate empathetic nature is essential.
Main Responsibilities
• Handle calls from bereaved families, making them feel at ease, whilst guiding them through the process
•When a family wishes to visit their loved one in the chapel of rest, you’ll make the necessary arrangements
•Accurately process funeral arrangements and plans
• Completing all important and relevant paperwork
• Ensuring all of the necessary paperwork such as medical certificates are processed correctly
Key Experience:
• Highly organised with good administrative and coordination skills
• Accurate and high attention to detail
• IT literate and a competent user of MS Office
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Empathetic with a caring nature
• Proactive and able to plan your time in both busy and quiet periods
• Resilient and able to work under pressure
