Front End Developer – Mid Level – Fully Remote
These guys are disrupting the their sector with a product that revolutionised the way people do business. They have designed a powerful, visually stylish web and mobile based product for the acquisition and management commercial assets. They are the only company doing what they are doing and have huge growth plans over the next two years as they expand globally and in the UK.
As a result they are looking for a Mid-Senior Front End Developer to join their 12 strong engineering team in the UI subteam of three which is currently made up of a Lead JavaScript Developer, Senior JavaScript Developer and a mid-level JavaScript Developer. The Front End Developer will work alongside our API developers (.net), QA engineers and Product owner in one of our cross-functional SCRUM teams.
The Front End Developer role is extremely varied and would include day-to-day Sprint tasks, stand-alone projects and improvements to the UI. Additionally, there will be an element of working with the rest of the team deciding on the architectural direction of the UI.
Key Skills?
* React (Hooks would be useful but not essential)
* Redux / other state management tools
* Solid understanding of reusable/component-based development (ES6 modules/imports)
Desirable:
* Exposure to additional JS frameworks e.g. Angular, Vue
* JS tooling and deployment (WebPack, CI/CD, ESLint, Babel, Prettier)
* Responsive design and UI framework (i.e. Material UI), including cross browser compatibility
* Testing frameworks such as React Testing Library, Jest or Enzyme
