Fleet Maintenance Support Advisor
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
Flexible hours between 7am-6pm Monday – Friday – 40hours per week
A new opportunity has arisen for a Fleet Mechanical/Maintenance Support team member. This is an exciting, fast paced and challenging opportunity to provide support and grow the Fleet team.
Job role:
* Overseeing and Co-ordinating mechanical issues on our accessible vehicle fleet consisting of two to three hundred vehicles.
* Dealing with the running and upkeep of all accessible vehicles.
* Ensuring vehicles are checked, road worthy and fulfilled with the relevant equipment to a high standard before going to our drivers
* Daily communication with garages is essential
* Co-ordinate on a day to day basis with the company drivers
* Answer all incoming calls and emails to Fleet Department
* Manual handling
* Able to keep all records on the internal company database, spreadsheets and diaries up to date.
* Completing a daily report to advise fleet manager on the day’s jobs
* Any other ad-hoc duties your line manager deems necessary
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
* Full clean UK driving licence
* At least 2 years’ experience in vehicle maintenance and parts is a necessity
* Thrives in a fast-paced team environment
* Able to cope with a demanding role
* Good communicational skills
* Working on all Microsoft packages
* Strong attention to detail
* Quick decision maker
* Well-presented and professional
* Self-motivated and have a positive attitude
