Financial Controller
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client, an experienced Financial Controller to join their exisitng team on a permanent basis.
As the Financial Controller, you will be reporting into the Operations Manager and working alongside external accountants. You will have the full day to day control of any financial responsibilities across the business.
The role will consist of the following duties:
* Preparing the monthly management accounts
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting.
* Prepare journals and maintain the general ledger.
* Accounts payable and receivable duties
* Tax reconciliations and returns.
* Assist with preparing annual operating budgets.
* Support the management team on special projects.
* Liaise with suppliers.
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Cash Flow Management
We are looking for a driven individual who has the imagination and ability to offer insights and suggest improvements for their role and for other functions across the company.
Key Skills:
Be qualified in either ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
Strong commercial acumen.
Experience with Xero, Excel, and Accounting Software
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a professional demeanor with the drive to grow and progress within their role.
Be an effective communicator with the ability to present financial information to financial and non-financial staff
