JOB SUMMARY
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB (WHERE APPLICABLE)
FINANCE
Ensure you deliver agreed services to clients in manner described above. Services may include but are not limited to:
* Maintaining accounting records
* Reconciling balance sheet and P&L items
* Preparing and processing payments
* Matching receipts to debts
* Monitoring cash balances
* Assisting with the preparation or preparing the following deliverables for review by your manager
* Management accounts
* Regulatory returns as applicable
OTHER
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, third parties and other Polo staff.
* Ensure procedures and controls are documented, followed, reviewed and updated.
* Continuous improving and development of processes and procedures.
* Commit to own personal development.
* Assist with internal/external audits for clients/Polo.
* Ensure you complete all internal deliverables eg e-learning, timesheets, clear desks etc.
* Provide cover for colleagues.
* Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

Essential:

* Effective problem-solving skills
* Excellent MS Excel/Word/Outlook skills
Desirable
* Experience in general insurance finance
* Knowledge of SUN financial system
