Finance Analyst
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £29000 – £32000/annum + Excellent Benefits
Anderson Knight is currently looking to recruit a Financial Analyst for one of our reputable clients based in Glasgow.
Reporting into the Project Accountant, the successful candidate will ensure accurate allocation of costs to sites, balance sheet control and management of retro-funded sales promotional cost.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Calculating accruals for discretionary marketing and range support spend
* Compare budgets/forecast and highlight any issues
* Complete monthly and quarterly royal returns
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations
* Monitor promotional activity, ensure invoices are valid and authorise as appropriate
* Consolidate and report weekly P&L
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes;
* Currently studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification
* High degree of IT literacy and able to use multiple systems
* Prioritisation of own time within a team environment with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Consistent accuracy and attention to detail
