Field Service Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £33000 – £35000/annum + Package
Compass Engineering are working in conjunction with our Yorkshire based client, an innovative manufacturer of specialist process equipment supplied to a wide range of customers, including an impressive list of blue chip companies.
Their requirement is for a Field based Service Engineer.
The role will incorporate responsibilities including:
* Site servicing and breakdowns
* Site commissioning and installations
* Equipment retrofits and upgrades
* Onsite training
Suitable candidates will be skilled and qualified mechanical engineers keen, willing and able to learn about a exciting range of technical products. Full training on the company's equipment will be provided, so a good attitude is key to this appointment.
You will be provided with training on control panel fault diagnosis and repair, though any knowledge in this arena is helpful.
The role is a global one, and so significant travel will be required, both across the UK and globally; the business have service contracts in place across Europe, Asia, and North America. You would be paid additionally a daily allowance for staying away, depending on location.
This is a permanent role to start asap.
