We are looking for a Farm Manager who has experience in Stone or Top Fruit to work on a farm near Maidstone, if you have any experience in this position then please get in touch.
The client
We are working with our client who specialises in Stone fruit in Kent. Due to the current Farm Manager leaving they are looking for someone else to join the team. You will report directly into the Director of Agriculture and manage a team of 2 but in the season this will go up to 25 people.
The Role
This role will manage the day to say growing, harvesting and optimisation of the full range of trial and commercial crop production. The role requires the end to end organisation of crop, machinery, people, infrastructure and product organisation and execution. Grow and produce the crop to deliver a consistent supply of product to the business.
The candidate
We are looking for an Assistant Farm Manager or a Farm Manager experienced in fruit / horticultural production who has people management skills and is self-motivated and customer focused.
