Facilities Manager

Catch 22 have been selected as the recruitment partner in the search for an Estate/ Facilities Manager on behalf of a luxury brand and multiple award winning English wine producer in West Sussex.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the effective delivery of facilities/ estates/ maintenance services across multiple sites – land and buildings – including agricultural, commercial, production, events space, warehousing, manor house and other on-site residential accommodation. This is not a desk job and the incumbent will need to be able and willing to jump onto farm vehicles and machinery, working alongside a small team.
You will lead in proactively providing and delivering a welcoming, secure, clean, operational and comfortable environment for all sites. This role also encompasses management of a variety of small-scale projects, out-sourcing and contracted services, including being responsible for implementing planned preventative maintenance, utilities, cleaning and security contracts within an allocated budget. You will apply best practice to improve efficiency by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
The ideal candidate will be a Dynamic Facilities Manager with experience of managing a high end multi-site operation with a proven track record of problem-solving abilities. You must be able to utilise your knowledge of the technical infrastructure of the office and buildings to form an optimum approach. You will have strong project management experience and be well practiced in procuring outsourced services. Listed building experience is preferred. There is an out of hours on-call requirement for occasional security issues.
In return, our client is looking to offer a salary of c£50,000 per annum plus a fantastic benefits package which includes pension, life assurance, medical cover, regular social events and staff discounts
