Evolution are a car restoration company based in Darlington, we take some of the most beautiful cars ever made and re-build them from scratch. We keep the beauty of these cars but update them, providing modern chassis, drive train, braking systems and suspension.
Every part of the car is updated and improved and fabricated on site by master craftsmen. We are looking to increase production of these beautiful machines and re launch the business worldwide.
We are moving to a new 30,000 square foot custom designed facility in Darlington complete with cutting edge manufacturing machinery and modern new assembly lines so that we can continue making the world’s best cars and car parts with the highest precision and quality at scale.
We are currently looking for a Fabricator to join Evolution E-Types Ltd on a permanent basis to build car shells and related parts.
What are we looking for?
* ATA or Level 3 Panel Beater/Fabricator qualification
* Experience in fabrication & welding is required
* Desirable experience within classic cars
* High level of technical competence and the ability to operate industrial machinery
* Time served in a body shop
* Experience in building cars from the ground up, preferably within a historical car background
* Driver’s licence is preferable
What are the main responsibilities?
* You will manufacture and convert components by using general welding and fabrication tools and techniques
* Successfully collaborate with team members throughout the manufacturing process
* Strive to complete all work in accordance with standard allowed times and report any delays to supervisor
* Comply with quality control systems, methods and documentation and maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
