Salary : £34000 – £39000/annum Bonus

We have the opportunity to present an exciting role for a highly regarded catering and events company in Liverpool for an Events Head Chef

* Caterer for a number of large, well known and unique venues

* Operating 2 Key Venues in Liverpool City Centre plus Busy Northwest Wedding Venue

* Young and dynamic team

* Multiple (new) contracts in the pipeline

Events include | Weddings, Corporate Events and Private parties

Service styles include

* Seated dining, Plated and sharing

* Passed, canapés and bowls

* Stations, Street Food, and occasionally bespoke concepts

* A strong communicator, Capable of working with and motivating a team

* Open minded, patient and willing to learn. Able to listen whilst as well as communicate your views

* Happy to get involved, get your hands dirty and lead from the front when necessary

* Able recognise own strengths and weaknesses, and request support when required

* Passionate about food, and setting the highest standards

* Adaptable and flexible, Focused and Driven

You should be able to…

* Cook delicious, (well seasoned), beautifully presented modern dishes with passion and finesse

* Have the ability to design a menu to suit any catering concept with an open minded approach

* (To) plan and oversee multiple events at the same time

* Develop existing templates to create costings, recipes and production guides

* Implement and improve on existing systems to ensure food safety standards are met and exceeded

* (To be able to) recruit, train, manage and lead a team to work to and exceed the standards set

* Keep up to date with current food and drink trends (must be a foodie)

* Confident using IT, Online Applications, Spreadsheets, Email, Google Suites etc

Preferred Experience;

* Extensive experience working in high end catering companies, banqueting operations, or event venues.

* Culinary qualification and/or experience working at Michelin or 3 Rosette (or equivalent experience)

* Experience overseeing a team in multiple locations.
