Event Sales Manager, Western Europe/ META

Salary : £35000/annum plus £14k OTE
Fantastic opportunity in a successful company for an experienced Events Sales manager who enjoys new business!
This leading global media and data company has a growth opportunity for their events business in Western Europe/ META where they run a diverse mix of events for high-quality technology audiences ranging from intimate round tables to large conferences and awards.
They are strengthening their team and looking for an ambitious, talented, and experienced event sales professional to be responsible for selling their event portfolio.
This role is predominantly focused on business development with some elements of account management. The successful candidate must have the ability to find opportunities and confidently present to clients.
The Event Sales Manager will report to the regional Head of Clients Services and hold the following responsibilities:
* Identify, develop and close event sales opportunities within their customer base
* Prospect, develop, and service relationships with existing and new customers
* Confidently present the company's event portfolio of solutions
* Negotiate and be responsible for all contracts
* Drive new business revenue generation
* Gain market share with existing customers
To be right for this important role, you will need the following skills and experience:
* Desired 3 years+ event sales experience, within a technology environment is beneficial
* Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of event marketing and trends
* Self-starter with good organisational and time management skills; able to work at fast pace, to achieve targets & business goals
* Strong presentation skills
* Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills.
