Landscaping Estimator

Estimator role
This role will be for a dedicated estimator – solely working on the estimating of projects including landscape construction and roof gardens etc.
Description
Multi award winning Landscape Construction contractor is looking for an Estimator to work on multi-million pound high profile contracts and leading edge landscape construction projects including roof gardens.
Role is open to both Junior / Assistant Estimators and Senior / Seasoned Estimators and salary will be dependent on experience, ranging from;
c£23,000 – £55,000
Key tasks include:
· Pricing tenders from bills of quantities, drawings and specifications
· Communicating with main contractors and clients during the tender process, raising and responding to RFIs
· Submitting high quality tender responses including all supporting documentation
· Negotiating best prices and ordering long lead in items from suppliers and subcontractors
· Producing detailed labour/plant/material breakdowns for secured contracts
· Pricing major contract variations
· Experience/ability to price hard and soft landscape works preferred
Candidate
The successful candidate will be an excellent team player with a genuine passion for the landscape industry, with:
· Proven experience in estimating or QS looking to change to estimating
· Focused with attention to detail and accuracy
· Good numeracy and computer skills
· Microsoft Project or similar
· Experience of using estimating software
· Full driving licence
Location Description
Bedfordshire Office – open to flexible working if candidate offers suitable experience and capabilities.
