ERP Implementation Consultant

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum £5k car allowance + bonus

Implementation Consultant to work with a flexible mid-market ERP solution that covers finance, stock & inventory control, manufacturing, purchasing, distribution and sales & CRM. Ideally you will live within 2 to 3 hours’ drive of Bournemouth where their head office is based, but you could also live near London where they have a secondary office, plus you will travel to client sites. Starting salary to £40k plus £5k car allowance and annual bonus.

They are looking for someone with a background in implementing ERP software, or a similar product that has an accounting module or aspect to it such as Dealer Management software, Property Management software, Accounting software, Fleet Management software or Construction software.

Knowledge of SQL queries or scripting, or CRM software or Crystal Reporting would all be a bonus as would an accounting qualification such as AAT or above. You need a solid background of functional software implementation, working on a variety of modules and you will like meeting the clients and are happy to stay away on client visits when needed.

As a hands-on Functional Consultant, you will understand the requirements and the business processes through workshops and business analysis meetings. You will talk to the client about the implementation of the ERP solution and what processes are easy to fit and what needs to change, either through development of the software or through a change in the business process. So you will be having detailed business discussions about how they operate and the best way to get the solution working and delivering benefit to them. You will have those conversations that push the client to question "why do we do it that way".

This company has been hugely successful selling ERP solutions into the SME space for the past 20 years and has doubled in size over the past 7 years to nearly 100 staff. The solution suits 10 to 100 users and has a .Net and SQL Server back end and is sold on premise or cloud based.

Reasons to work here: It's a great product, everyone who works with it, loves it. Up to date SQL Server .Net technology. Lots of autonomy to do the projects how you want to. Work as a Consultant with a good team around you.

The management team and the Consulting Director are great guys. The best thing is that you will get to see projects from the start to the finish and have a chance to get some ownership of implementations as they happen and develop relationships with the clients. This is a company where they do good project work and clients and staff stay with them for a long time.
