Purpose of Position
Our client is looking for an in-house email marketing specialist to create and organise all the written content for email campaigns including market research, slogans and headlines. As well as write and edit copy for landing pages, social, building the online community and attracting new customers.
The Email Marketing Specialist will be collaborating with internal design and ecommerce teams as well as buyers to devise powerful email marketing promotions.
Key Responsibilities
You will be creating and monitoring a wide variety of email marketing campaigns
Ensuring designs and layouts of emails are optimised, user and mobile-friendly
Conducting market research
Collaborating with Graphic Designers to improve the appearance layouts
Ensuring emails follow industry best practice
Writing and optimising copy and subject lines to increase response
Quality checking and reviewing of all email sends before broadcasting
Manage and drive online activity through email campaigns, from conception to post campaign analysis
Create copy, edit and proofread all social media and online contentBackground & Skill
Previous working experience as an Email Marketer role for 3 years
Degree in journalism, marketing or similar relevant field
Experience in email deliverability, testing and automation
Professional copy writing experience with solid portfolio of work
Good understanding of HTML and email
Experience with large scale email marketing campaigns
Ability to analyse data and provide insight into consumer behaviour
Highly analytical and a great communicator
Excellent project and time management skills
Expert knowledge of customer retention
High enthusiasm for new ideas
Proficient in Excel, Word, Photoshop, Powerpoint etc
