Electrical Project Manager – (Retail experience essential)
Parkinson Gray Associates have been engaged to recruit for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their expanding team.
My Client is a West Yorkshire based MEP Contractor with an enviable order book of work and strong staff retention. With a great mixture of work directly with the end user, as well as some strong relationships in place with key main contractors, they have seen significant growth in recent years. As part of that expansion they are seeking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager.
As Electrical Project Manager you will be Client facing, profit and loss responsible and design aware. We are not looking for a fully fledged Design Engineer but we do need someone with the ability to deliver projects from a design specification. Overall what we are seeking is a “proper” turnkey Electrical Project Manager who can take a scheme from inception through to completion whilst keeping a tight reign on all aspects of the project and at all stages. My Client is particularly keen on having their Project Managers keep a very close eye on the financial aspects of projects and requires financial reports on a regular basis. This position is within our Clients retail division and therefore experience of this type of work is essential – ideally supermarket experience.
For this role we are looking for someone with a solid industry background. Our Client is looking for someone with hands on experience, so ideally you will have a trades background, on which you have built your management career. We are looking for someone with extensive experience of profitable and timely delivery of projects. Such works will be widely distributed around the Country and so there will be travel required as part of this role.
