We have a new opportunity with a lovely publisher of digital health science resources in Somerset! They are looking to appoint an Editor or Senior Editor to look after their growing portfolio of resources aimed at emergency services and healthcare professionals, with a strong focus on digital development.

The role can be remote based, though they would love this person to come in 1 or 2 days a week, in line with the rest of the editorial team.

Key responsibilities will include:

Commissioning new content and developing a portfolio of digital resources on health sciences
Looking after key relationships with authors and contributors
Project management of digital products, collaborating with freelancers, app developers and other technical teams to develop and test new features
Coordinating new editions

We are looking for good editorial experience, ideally coming from an academic, professional or STM background, and for an interest in working with new digital products. This role offers a lot of variety, and sits within a very friendly team, with lots of opportunities for training and development.
