We are seeking to hire a talented, self-motivated individual with a strong eye for detail, competent commercial awareness and who thrives within the digital retail world. Working alongside the existing eCommerce Team, this role provides an excellent challenging opportunity to work within the world of eCommerce at a friendly, family-owned business that continues to grow year-on-year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for effective growth of our client’s eBay, Amazon and ManoMano stores, as well as constantly updating our company Magento 2 based website with new product offerings, services, and deals. This involves critical researching to ensure the correct details and product specification for each item is uploaded successfully, creating engaging product images, listing products across multiple marketplaces correctly and analysing the online marketplace daily to ensure appropriate product prices and margins are applied.

Online marketplace training will also be supplied to ensure you’re confident in delivering positive result within your role. You’ll be working in a relaxed office-based environment, at a comfortable speed but must be able to multi-task effectively. You will have a multi-screen workstation and a large personal desk area that is situated in the eCommerce office whereby you will be working within a small team who directly reports to the eCommerce Manager and company Directors.

Occasionally, you may be asked to help with other tasks outside of this role as required, booking goods in, stock checking, picking/packing/shipping orders.

The successful candidate will be required to work, Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

Expand online product offering across eBay, Amazon, ManoMano and the companies own website

Analysing online marketplaces to set appropriate selling prices and maintain high margins throughout

Working efficiently through the in-house eCommerce workflow to keep projects on-course for completion

Thorough product and brand research to seek new product sales opportunities

Working as part of the eCommerce Team to deliver daily, weekly, and monthly results collectively

Candidate Requirements:

Previous use of eBay and Amazon sales channels in a business capacity

Previous use or knowledge of a Magento 2 platform

Previous use or knowledge of ManoMano

Previous use or knowledge of Amazon FBA

Previous use or knowledge of Orderwise management system

Experience using photo editing programmes; Photoshop, GIMP, etc

Experience working within a digital marketing role

A background in buying products from suppliers and in stock management and order processing roles

An interest in hand and power tools, hardware, fixings, and plumbing

Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office; particularly Excel

Excellent numeracy skillset

Excellent product copywriting ability

Excellent level of self-motivation and the ability to work as an individual

Excellent time-keeping properties

Able to work as part of a team

Able to work under pressure and repeatedly meet tight deadlines
